IWRM Tutorial
For Cap-Net, a capacity building network for Integrated
Water Resources Management, we built an online tutorial on the basics of
IWRM. The tutorial includes small flash animations; video, panorama views and flash
slideshows and has been made adaptable to different contexts. Text is split into easy-to-read
sections, with "read more" pop-ups that contain additional info for the
interested user. The tutorial includes ingenious Visual Basic programming that enables
users to go through it step by step, take small side-steps, but always return back to the original location
in the main flow of the tutorial. To see an online version of the tutorial or
order the CD, please visit www.cap-net.org.

Drainage training package
For the World Bank, we produced, designed and tested a training
package on the basis of research recently conducted by the World Bank,
with the title of "Reclaiming Drainage; toward an integrated approach"
The package included 5 modules, on different elements
involved in implementing drainage from an IWRM perspective. Each module
includes a powerpoint presentation and a booklet with explanatory notes.
We tested the package with a group of international professionals during
the yearly ILRI drainage course, and held focus-group interviews to review
the package and derive possible improvements.
